Lombardy (Lombardia in Italian) is a landlocked region in the north of Italy, and home to Italy’s second largest city, Milan. Acting unoffically as a second capital, Milan is Italy’s fashion, industry and finance hub drawing visitors from across the world. While without a coastline, Lombardy is famous for it’s lakes (Como, Garda, Iseo) as well as its Alpine border with Switzerland and historic countryside that produces some of the best wines in Italy. About The Italian Way
